New Test Laboratory for ISO 16890

With the new test laboratory for coarse and fine dust filters, we test filters to the current standard ISO 16890. It opens considerable potential for existing and newly developed products.

The facility tests filters to ISO 16890, EN 779:2002, EN 779:2012 and ASHRAE 52.2.

This lets us monitor quality continuously and trial new filter media and designs. For customer-specific and energy-saving products, we examine construction and function in detail. Besides spectrum measurements for ePM1, ePM2.5 and ePM10 (or EN 779), we carry out dust loading tests with various dusts to estimate service life. The first test specimen was the standard product HS-Pak 88. It achieved ISO ePM1 70 % and EN 779:2012 F7.
