HS-Filtermedia for coarse dusts
Filtermedia for coarse dust filtration. Supplied as Rolls and Pad's.
Washable filter pads are used in air conditioning and air ventilation equipment, when regeneration of the mats after cleaning is required. HS-synthetic fibre filter pads consist of randomly arranged curled synthetic fibres in a multi-layered structure with a graduated density towards the clean air side of the media. Resin and/or thermal bonding provides for a high performance nonwoven fleece. Its engineered structural design has proven to guarantee longer life and high dust holding capacity with low differential pressure-loss in the most demanding applications. After dust saturation filter mats can be easily cleaned either by blowing or washing and be reused.
Standard roll dimensions are 20 x 2 m, pads of all sizes can be cut on order.
HS-Glasfibre Filter Pads
Paint-Stop, high temp filtermedia, glassfibre media with dustbinder
HS-Glas Fibre Pads: HS-Glas 1” and 2”
These standard filter mats are suitable ideally for climatic and ventilation systems they consist of flexible glass fibres, which are glued together with a synthetic resin on their corsslinks. The fibre density increases towards the clean air side and ensures thus a large dust storage capability. For more efficient dust extraction the fibre are coated with a dust-adhesive agent. This dust binder is non toxic.
HS-Glas Fibre Pads: HS-Glas-C
These high-quality filter mats are especially designed for strict air cleanliness requirements, e.g. as supply air filters for drying units or paint spray installations. According to the DIN 4012 this material is not flammable. The filter mat consists of the finest glass fibres, which are solidified in themselves to a fleece on the clean air side.
HS-Glas Fibre Pads: HS-PA
This special filtermat is used for high grade arrestance of paint mist in paint spraying cabins or paint shops. The HS-Glass fibre mat is made of a random pattern of thin glass fibres with a spring-like elasticity. The density of fibres increase progressively towards the clean air side, while the fibres becoming finer and finer within the media. Due to this specific structure a high storage capacity of paint particles is obtained in the 50 mm depth of the media. Under favourable conditions it is possible to hold more than 3500 g of paint-mist per sqm of filter area. The mat is not flammable as required by the DIN 4102-B1
HS-Filtermedia for fine dusts

These filter pads are applied in air conditioning or air ventilation equipment for increased perfomance levels as well as supply air filtration for surface finishig. After dust saturation these mats are simply replaced by new ones.
Standard roll dimensions are 20 x 20 m and cut pads can be supplied as required.

These Rolled Fibre Filters are made from highly flexible elasticised interwoven glass fibers, which are bonded at the edges, with plastic glue. With reducing fiber thickness the filter media becomes finer and denser towards the clean airside. These results in a deep dust storage and therefore increased dust storage capacity, which exceeds 2000[g/m2] filter area, with minimal operating pressure variations. To increase filter efficiency and dust storage dust arresting netting material is applied to the filter media. Filter rolls can be immediately fitted to roll filter systems as they are manufactured ready to fit therefore there is no need for any special tooling needed for fitment.
Type HS-Matic and HS-Kleen
To ensure easy fitment of filter rolls they are equipped with a guiding facility. The end of the roll is fitted with a piece of hardboard to enable technicians to remove the used filter roll without disturbing the settled dust or waste in the filter material. The Hs-Matic-Filter media is fitted to steel piping, which has discs on either side. The Hs-Kleen-filter media is fitted to a hardboard pipe.
New and used filter media is stored in robust disposable cartridges, which are almost waterproof and splash water resistant. This ensures an almost dust free filter change.
This type of filter media consists of synthetic fibers of varying thickness and reinforced on the clean airside. The material is fire resistant and not fitted with any netting material. The HS-Fibro-roll filter is delivered on a hardboard pipe with bush fittings.
Panel Filter HS-Z-50 and HS-Z-100
Panel filter with Z-pleated synthetic media and cardboard frame. Used in HVAC, Ventilation & heavy machinery.
Filter for air conditioning and ventilating equipment. The pleated high performance filter fleece is self supporting. Therefore this Filtercell absolut free of any metal and fully combustibly which makes the disposal easy. This arrangement is held together with a rigid card board frame.
Type HS-Z-100 can optionally be fittet with a glass fibre pad HS-Glas 2". This mat assures a pre-arrestance of coarse dust to provide a longer service life for the filter cell. The synthetic fibre cells can be delivered in most standard sizes and in special dimensions, on request. For stability reasons the length of one side should not exceed 610mm.
Panel Filter HS-Glas Z 1" and HS-Glas Z 2"

Panelfilter for air conditioning and ventilation installations. This filter medium is constructed of an elastic pattern of thin glass fibres, held in a rigid card board frame. For improved coarse dust extraction and dust holding the medium is impregnated with a non toxic dust binder. HS-Glass Fibre Cells are available for most standard sizes and in special dimensions, on request.
Filterpanels for finedust filtration / surface technologies

These consist of different layers of very fine homogeneous glass fibre fleeces with reinforcement of the clean air side. They are non flammable complying with DIN 4102-B1.

These Filtercells are made from different synthetic fibre high performance fleeces. They have a reinforcement on the clean air side. These filter cells are self extinguishing according to DIN 53 438. The assembly of the filter layers is adapted to the corresponding mounting frame, as follows:

this range of HS-bag filters have spacers inserted in the individual bags, ensuring even air flow throughout the entire filter unit and at the same time evenly distributing the store dust. This extends the lifespan of the filter and reduces energy costs due to the lower pressure. Another advantage is the constant filter efficiency even with varying airflow. These bag filters stand on their own frames and therefore do not need to be secured. With oversize bag filters the surrounding frame is reinforced with angles in the corners of the frame.

This range of high quality HS-Bag filters is fitted with additional parallel seams sewn in the individual bag filters, ensuring even air flow through the unit at the same time guaranteeing the efficient use of the filter by evenly distributing the stored dust or waste. This extends the life span of the filter and reduces the energy cost for the airflow through the filter. On the clean airside the bag filters are fitted with an additional felt type material in order to achieve a greater stability and to handle larger airflow volumes.
All standard sizes are fitted with air aerodynamically shaped entry guides to optimize the energy efficiency.
HS-AirSynErgy: Energy Saving Filter
Energy saving filter - offers longer service intervals with lower pressure drop. Saves up to 30% of your energy costs.
The product family HS-AirSynErgy is a bagfilter based on synthetics that reflects the highest technology standard is in regards to mechanical effiicency combined with long service lifetime and therefore a better energy saving potential. HS-AirSynErgy's performance is superior over usual glas- and common synthetic bag filters.
Paralel, tapered separarors in the bags of this high quality Filters ensure a stable air guiding form that allows an even airflow within the filter. Therefore all bags are evenly saturated with dust and particles. HS-AirSynErgy is different from other bag filters. The filtermedia offers a special inner wave structure that thus offers double active filtersurface by only consuming the space of a conventional filter. Combined with the air guiding profiles in at the air entry HS-AirSynErgy achieves up to 35% less pressure dop in comparison to common bag filters. This saves the user up to 1100 kW/h operational energy (equals approx. 620g CO2/p.a.).
The media structure with the enlarged inner surface offers an expicit higher dust loading capacity of up to +80%. This allows a much higher service lifetime without taking any drawback with the energy consumption compared with usual bag filters. HS-AirSynErgy is not requireing any electrostatics for the norm approved operation. A steady rise of the efficiency is ensured over the complete service lifetime. The filter fulfills the EN779:2012 requirements at any time.

As can be seen here, the elongated version of the waved media is twice as large as the common non-waved version. This lowers the pressure drop for filters and gives the user the maximum dust holding capacity.
The filtermedia of the HS-AirSynErgy series consists only of fully synthetic materials. The fibres are flexible and break-proved so a displeasing fibreshedding as seen with glassfibre bag filters while unpacking and handling is absolutely impossible.

HS-Beta Pak are robust finedustfilter for depths small as 48 mm and 96 mm by request up to 150 mm. Suited for Reconfiguration or replacement of AC units, substituting common Zig-Zag-pleated with a more hygienic filter. Also applicable at systems where actual filter efficiency is not enough (i.e. finedust problems in city-air).
HS-Beta Pak are robust fine dust filters, employed as preliminary or main filters when long filter service lives are required in large and/or variab- le volume flows. Typical areas of application are electronics and computer rooms, pharmaceutical production areas, research laboratories, hospitals, industrial ventilation and preliminary filtration for particulate air filters. They fit in all standard fra- mesystems or mounting frames of various manuf- acturers for particulate air filters, according to the design variant. They are suitable for use as replace- ment filters in all standard commercially available mounting frames. Due their small depth HS-Beta Pak save space in new constructed ventilation systems.
These filters are also great space savers when existing venti- lationssystems need to be rigged up for higher filter classes. The sturdy plastic frame fulfills the demands for high rigidity and hygiene combined with the ease of disposal since the filters are com- pletely metalfree and thus fully incinreable.
Space saving compact filter for pre- and mainfiltration for HVAC and ventilation tasks.
Slim and environmentally friendly design for high efficiency

HS-ECO Pak filters are mostly used with air-conditioning, ventilation for fine dust filtration. The filters are used as pre- and / or main filters for suspended matters and general dust pollution. They are especially suited for use in conditions for handling large airflow volumes and achieve long service life times due to their large dust storage capacity.
HS-ECO Pak filters fit most standard supporting frames from various manufacturers. The filtermedia consists of a ultra fine glass fibre paper with varying thickness and filter efficiencies. Thermpoplastic threads are used as spacers between the densly and tightly packed individual media folds, to achieve even spacing.
Its design and construction provides a high rigidity. The filter media is water repellant and also suitable for use in conditions with highes humidity levels. A temporary increase of the pressure drop is normal. With reduced humidity the pressure drop returns to normal levels.
HS-ECO Pak filters can be fitted with the clean-air or dust side inside or outside, and are great space savers when used in new systems due to their minimal mounting depths. Options like protection grids or gaskets are availiable upon request.
Wedge shapred filter for finedust filtration, requires minimum space.
These compact finedust filters are used as pre- and mainfilters in stationary applications such as HVAC and compact filterunits. With mobile applications HS-V-Pak are used in machinery and vehicles (i.e. Waste disposal). HS-V-Pak filters are in use where smalles installation space or flexible arrangements are required. HS-V-Pak filters allow maximum usage avialiable space in channel sections. Our advanced prodution technology enables us to bring in the maximum filtersurface on smallest filtersizes. This allows operational cost & energy consumption reductions by lower pressure drop, longer lifetimes and reduction of dimensions of new planned systems. HS-V-Pak filters consist from fully combustible raw materials so the filter can be completely incinerated after use.

High performance filters for industrial applications i.e. process air, pharmacy, surface technology etc.
HS-Makro Fine Dust Filters are used as pre-filters and main filters in ventilation and air-conditioning systems requiring high and/or variable volume flows combined with long filter life. Typical areas of application include electronic and computer rooms, pharmaceutical production areas, research laboratories, hospitals, industrial ventilation and pre-filtering of airborne particles. Depending on the specification, they may be used standard cell frames or in mounting systems from HS-Luftfilterbau as well as of various other manufacturers. The filter paper is laid in narrow parallel pleats and fixed evenly in place by spacers made from profiled aluminium foil. The special spacer profiling with beaded edges on both sides prevents the filter paper from being damaged and gives the filter assembly maximum stability. These filters could be optionally fitted with, protection grids, grounding or regenerative filter media.
HS-Makro F are robust fine dust filters, employed as preliminary or main filters when long filter service lives are required in large and/or variable volume flows. Typical areas of application are electronics and computer rooms, pharmaceutical production areas, research laboratories, hospitals, industrial ventilation and preliminary filtration for particulate air filters. They fit in all standard framesystems or mounting frames of various manufacturers for particulate air filters, according to the design variant. They are suitable for use as replacement filters in all standard commercially available mounting frames.
The HS-Makro FV are specialy designed to handle highest air flow rates (i.e. 7000 m³/h @ face dim. 610x610 mm). Within these filters the media packets are arranged in a V-shape to increase the effective filter surface. The filter media used is high quality glass fibre paper with various grades of dust extraction efficiencies. The glass fibre paper is folded into closely spaced pleats, with thermoplastic adhesive spacers to ensure an optimum pleating geometry. The standard filters are fully incinerable - easier disposal.

Filtercells made from micro glass fiber media and curved aluminum spacers. Filters are versatile applicable for process protection in industry and technology. The use of aluminum spacers allows more options e.g.: cleanable filter media for up to 10.000 cleaning cycles, high temperature filters or electrical grounding for explosion protection.

Molecular gas- and adsorbtion filters
HS-Carbon Cartridge AKP 26
Cartridgefilter for multiple adsorption- and chemisobtion tasks.
Activated carbon cartridges are used for the absorption of gaseous or odor intensive pollutants with ventilation and extraction systems. The basic unit consists of a base-frame (610 x 610 mm) and 16 single cylindrical cartridges filled with activated charcoal. According to required airflow volumes several units can be fitted to a filter wall. The cartridges are manufactured either from metal sheeting or stainless steel. We can also re-furbish used cartridges on our premises.
HS-A055 Activated Carbon Panel Cell
Carbon Filter used for high airflows.
This active coal card filter is used to absorb unpleasant odors like kitchen-, tobacco- chemical- and body odors, as well as gaseous pollutants, mainly carbon hydrates. The main applications are in ventilation and air-extraction systems.
HS-active charcoal board filters consist of the cell frame fitted with plastic guides for the v-shaped configuration of 18 individual filter elements.
High efficient particle- & gasfilter used in filterunits at welding, brazing and laser workplaces.
HS-Combi Filters are used for the filtration at exhaust air processes where gaseous and particular, also toxic air impurities have to be filtered securely. The compact combination of finedust / HEPA and activated carbon filterstages allows convinient solutions also for the most complex filtration problems in minium dimensions. HS-Combi Filters are especially suited for following applications:
- soldering- and weldingfume filtration i.e. for Purex™ or Wella™ exhauster systems
- cabin filters for special vehicles or marine technology
- exhaust air filter for the medical range (i.e. for laser scalpel)
- combined smell and partilce filtration for air recirculation systems
Flat panel adsorbtion filter for odor- and gasfiltration used in exhaust air (i.e. kitchen), exhaustion and machinery corrosion protection.
HS-Carbopanel PB filters are used for filtration of odors, hydrocarbon compounds (VOC's) or other gaseous or molecular air pollutants. The design combines the benefit of small sizes with the advantage of the adsorbtion capability of loose carbon beds. HS-Carbopanel PB can be adapted to the needs of your processes. The size is up to a maximum edge length of 650 mm. The activated carbon can be selected according to the emission spectra for optimal performance. HS-Carbo Panel PB fit into standard filter bag support frame.

HS-Vario CAT, modular filterhousing

The HS-Vario CAT programme is the solution for your tasks in air filtration. The modular design allows to meet the requirement of most different fields of applications. Ranging from simple one-filter-stage supply or exhaust air filtration with bag filters to multi-stage filter solutions including regulateable fans. You can choose individually about the air-flow that should be handled, filter stages, auxillary equipment or installation position the required HS-Vario CAT should have. All integrated filtermounting frames are fitting for filters from HS-Luftfilterbau as well as standard filters of various other manufacturers. The extruded profile offers a circulating 30 mm frame and allows direct connection to the ducting or the mounting of connecting pieces either with flanges or other tube connectors.
HS-Solid CAT, welded stainless housing
Modular filterhousing made from welded stainless steel.
The HS-Solid CAT channel housing meets your performance requirements in all ductwork requiring the highest standards of air purity. The modular concept allows cost-effective adaptation to the needs of your process conditions. The housing can serve from a simple one-stage filter up to multi stage HEPA and gas/odor filtersystem for safety relevant applications. If required an adjustable fan can be integrated to the design.
HS-Solid CAT housings are made of welded stainless steel (type 1.4301 or 1.4404 / 14571). HS-Solid CAT can be fitted with any combinations of coarse and fine dust filters as well as HEPA's up to EN 1822 Class H14. Even the inclusion of molecular filters is provided. The integrated filter holders are suitable filters manufactured by HS-Luftfilterbau filter and of course for standard filters from most other manufacturers.

Rigid supporting frames for filter wall or fitment in machines are manufactured from airtight welded aluminium profiles. The outer frame, made from angle profiles, provides a surrounding frame for safe fitment, which ensures safe sealing with the frame body. Supporting angles and a spindle press system assures exact fitment and proper sealing of the filter insert.

Robust channel housing made from galvanised steel fitted with a service panel on its side. The filter units are mounted in an airtight welded aluminium profile frame. A spindle pressure system ensures a proper fit and seal of the filter inserts.
HS-Mounting Frame for Bag- and Compact Filters
Standard mounting frames for bag filters, compact filters and panelfilters for up to 48 mm depth.
Rigid mounting frames manufactured from galvanised sheeting or stainless steel fitted with a glued seal. Filter inserts are secured with a tensioning system, which ensures proper centralised fitment of the filter insert. Standard frames are manufactured to standard size, which allow exact and safe fitment in modular sections to any filter wall system.
HS-4N mounting frame for finedust and HEPA filters
Mounting frame for filter cassettes up to 292 mm depth.
HS-4N mounting frames ideally suit for building filterwalls for highly efficient particle filtration. Single mounting frames can be fitted like modules to estrablish a wall installation. Clamping elements in each corner of the mounting frame ensure an even pressure on the installed filter. Each mounting frame comes with 4 clamping elements. All weldseams are glas blasted for corrosion protection. HS-4N-Frames can be optinonally equiped with a leaktest pipe to ensure tight seat of the filter by putting the groove gasket (gasket with tight seat test ablility) of the filter under pressure. The tight seat of the filter is validated by monitoring the leak rate over the gasket.The mounting system supports worldwide standard HEPA sizes.

V-Type channel housing for mounting of filter pads, panel filters and metal mesh filters.
Solid channel housing made from galvanised sheeting with a removable side panel for servicing of filter units. The configuration is from the left or from the right according to the airflow direction. The filter inserts are secured in v-shape configured mounting frames between the supporting grills and mounting clips. This design also allows the use of filter cells.
HS-Panelfilter Wall Frame V-type HS-Z034
Panelfilter wall for panel filters, pads and mesh filters type HS-Z34 (V-form) for higher flow rates.
This filter wall consists of the filter-wall frame, the surrounding support frame (where required) and individual supporting frames. With the use of filter matting inserts, supporting grills and frames for the filtermats are fitted. For modular fitting, an angle frame is supplied.

Stabiles Kanalgehäuse aus verzinktem Stahlblech mit seitlicher Revisionsöffnung, Anordnung rechts oder links bezogen auf die Luftrichtung. Durch die flache Bauweise von nur 180 mm ist das Gehäuse platzsparend. Die Aufnahme des Filtermediums erfolgt in einem herausziehbaren Schnellwechselrahmen mit Stützgitter und Andruckspangen. Es können auch Filterzellen eingesetzt werden.
