New test laboratory ISO 16890

The current filter standard ISO 16890 holds great potential for existing and new products to be developed. In order to remain a technology leader in this area as well, we are putting our new test laboratory for coarse and fine dust filters into operation these days.

ISO 16890 test stand at HS-Luftfilterbau GmbH

The new test facility can test filters in the standard areas ISO 16890, EN 779: 2002, EN 779: 2012 and ASHRAE 52.2.

This means that we are always precise in terms of continuous quality monitoring and testing of new filter media and constructions. Particularly when developing customer-specific and energy-saving products, we are able to check designs and functionality in detail.

In addition to the spectrum measurements for ePM1, ePM2.5 and ePM10 or EN 779, we can also carry out dust tests with various types of dust to estimate service life.

You can find more on the subject of ISO 16890 at www.iso16890.de

The first successful test item was our standard product HS-Pak 88, which (as expected) achieved an excellent result in ISO ePM1 70% and EN 779: 2012 F7.
